Christmas Decor/house tour!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a wonderful Wednesday afternoon! I watched emilynoel83 (aka Emily Eddington) in her recent "Holiday House Tour" video, and I got inspired to do a blog post on my Christmas decorations and just an overall tour of my house all decked out in Christmas decor :)

So lets get started:

First, this is my bedroom/makeup room and I recently re-designed my room to be more "college age" appropriate :) anyways, my walls are a turquoise color and I found this mini Christmas tree at Target. I just thought it was so cute and the best part is its turquoise!!! :D

So I just sat the Christmas tree on top of my vanity and I think it adds some color to this side of my room because this wall is a beige color and the other 3 walls are the turquoise color :)

Here's what it looks like:

Next, as you come out the door of my room you see my big Christmas tree in my living room. Now this tree my parents had gotten a few years ago when they had decided that a fake tree was best for our house because we didn't want to keep cleaning up all the little pine needles that kept dropping on the ground. Plus, my animals specifically my cat liked to play in the water basin that we would sit the tree in :) Anyways, heres a picture of the big tree:

Next, as you go around the couch to the front door, you can see another mini Christmas tree sitting beside the end table:

This tree was actually given to me when I was in the hospital on Christmas last year by one of my bosses at work and we thought we would go ahead and pull it out for this Christmas :)

Anyways, next as you walk out of the living room, you come into the kitchen and the first thing that catches my eye is this jar on my kitchen table that my mom has put those glittery ball ornaments inside it :)

Now in my kitchen window overlooking my backyard, we have our nativity scene set up with some real Christmas tree clippings and mini candles around it, as well as the cross :)

Above my stove, my mom has also put some garland up on top of my cabinets :)

I almost forgot to mention, as you look downstairs you see yet another string of garland, Advent candles and ribbon that my mom has put up :)

Next, as you walk down my hallway from the kitchen, we put a hope chest in the middle with candles, beads and a red cloth on top :) as well as another mini Christmas tree! (in total, scattered around the house, we have a total of 6 mini Christmas trees)

Finally, as you walk down the hallway into my bathroom, we put a big red candle holder on top of the counter as well as some real Christmas tree clippings :)

Next to that counter above my sink, we have put a couple candles and some more beads on the ledge of the mirror :)

Well, I think thats it for my Christmas decor/house tour! I hope y'all enjoyed this and I would love to see what your house looks like all decorated for Christmas! Have a great rest of the day everyone and I'll be blogging again soon! :)

FINALLY a College Student!!

Hey everyone!! I wanted to share some really exciting news with y'all!! I graduated high school FINALLY!!!! :D After I came home from the hospital in September and recovered from surgery, I started back to my school stuff. I was bummed because I only had about a month left of stuff to do right before I was told I was sick and I was admitted into the hospital for a month. But alas, I got everything done! I completed everything 2 days before Thanksgiving and an added bonus, I have a month off before school starts!! I start classes January 2nd and my graduation party is December 15th! I'm studying to be a Music Therapist and a high school music teacher, along with training my 8 month old puppy to be a therapy dog.

So I am so excited to start college and another kind of exciting yet scary thing is I am moving next year as well. I never have moved before and I don't like change, so this is a very scary territory for me to be in but I am trusting God to help me through this new phase in my life. There are alot of changes going on within the next year but I am excited about them :)

Well, thats it for this quick post! I just wanted to tell you guys an update on my life and share these exciting new things with you. I hope you all have a great night and I hope you enjoyed this! I'll be blogging again soon! :)

Room Renovation is FINALLY complete!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Monday afternoon! I'm sorry its taken me so long to make a "finished room renovation" post, I've been super busy trying to get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas and just everyday life has gotten in the way. But, my room renovation is FINALLY finished!!! I'm so incredibly happy with it, my friends from college say that it has a very classy feel which is true :) I painted 2 walls turquoise and the other two walls are a light beige color, I think its kind of looks like the ocean :) anyways, here are some pictures:

So I have a couple quotes on my walls. The first one is down in the picture on the bottom left. It says "Faith Not Fear" and the reason I put it up was 1) I love the quote and it has helped me through all my recent medical stuff. 2) I also put it up in memory of a very close friend who passed away last year and she used to say this quote a lot. And the other one is down in the picture on the bottom right, that one says "If Music be the food of love, play on!" its by Shakespeare and its from his play Twelfth Night. I've just loved this quote so much and I thought it had to go on my wall! :)

Here is one more picture of something that I couldn't fit into the photo collage I made above:

This vanity is on the wall that has my bedroom door on it because it was the only place where I could put it and still have room around it. It is also next to the wall that says "Faith not Fear." To give y'all an idea of how big my room is, its only a 12X12 but I was able to fit a lot of furniture in it :)

I had my sister, my grandparents and my parents help with the painting and decorating. My grandma is a great interior designer, so she helped me place all my decorations and such. My sister was so sweet and she came over and helped with the grueling paint process, which took not as long as I thought :) I mean with me, my sister, my mom, and her best friend we got it all finished in a few hours! :)

So thats my room renovation! I'm so happy with it and plus everything that I put in there can go with me when I move next year with the exception of the paint, obviously :)

I hope y'all enjoyed this and I hope you have a great day! I'll try and update on this blog more often! :) If you haven't checked out my other blog "Beauty Beat" here's the link: www.mariah-cantstopthebeauty.blogspot.com :)

Room renovation!!!

Hey everyone!!! I hope y'all are having a great Saturday morning! I wanted to share with you what I'm doing for my room renovation! So I thought that I since I am a freshman in College, I would update my room to be a more "grown up" room :) I am going to put a vanity in there with a mirror and lights running down the sides of it. And I am going to put all my makeup stuff in rolling 3 drawer bins and store them underneath the vanity. Then I'll put the sterilite bins that I have in my closet with my other makeup and brushes on top of the vanity. I am really excited about this new set up! I bought the paint to re-do my walls in teal and a pea- green color, then I'm going to write some quotes and verses on my 3 walls with the teal color in black paint. And then I'm going to hang some fun things on my walls such as a wood guitar that I made in last year's VBS camp at my church, also some awesome wall decals that I saw at Target not too long ago. Anyways here's pictures of the colors I'm going to paint my walls and picture of my room so you guys can see how big it is. FYI: my room is a 12X12 :)

So comment below and let me know what you think of the new colors! I love the teal, not sure if I like the pea-green color so if you have any ideas of another light shade to pair the teal with, please either tweet me or comment below! :) have a great day everyone!! www.twitter.com/mariahsierra94

Also, in case y'all were wondering I am finally home from being in the hospital for a month!! I've been home for 6 days so far :) thanks for all the prayers, I really appreciate it!! :)

Arts Camp day 5 and showcase...

Hey everyone! Well, Arts Camp 2012 is complete! The last day and the showcase night went very well last night! My music class 1st grade-4th grade kids did a great job with their performance, I am so very proud of them! I didn't get home until about 11:00pm last night because the clean up took the longest to finish. I'm going in today to finish what we didn't get done after the show. I had awesome people helping me during this week, I am so thankful for them I don't know what I would've done without their help!

This week and the 12th year of Arts Camp was awesome! I am bummed its over, but I know there will be next year! :) Well, thats it for this post for today! I have today and tomorrow to rest up before I have to jump back into my regular routine, so I'mgoing to get ready for the day to go back to the church to finish cleaning up from last night. I'll be blogging again soon and I hope y'all have a great day! :)

Arts Camp day 4...

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a fantastic Thursday evening! Well Arts Camp day 4 is: complete! Its nearing the end of our VBS camp and its bittersweet. I've absolutely loved teaching this year and I hope to do it again next year! We have one more day left which is tomorrow and although I'll be glad its over so I can get some much needed rest, I am also sad. Its a bummer that I have to wait a whole other year before it comes back around again, but no worries!

Anyways, day 4 went very well. I have to say a huge thank you to my other teachers and my younger teens that are dealing with the kids hands-on, they are all awesome!! :) Its been a great week and I can't wait to do it again next year! I am trying to get rested up for one of the longest days which will be tomorrow because its not only the last day of camp but its also SHOWCASE NIGHT!!! Showcase just means that the kids will present what they learned to their parents and all of us by either putting it on display in the art gallery or actually performing something on the stage for them. Which my kids will be performing what they learned this week as well as the Dance track and Drama track will also be performing what they learned. The Visual Arts track, Creative Craftsmanship track, and Culinary track will be putting what they learned out on display in the art gallery. Performance night is a huge, crazy, chaotic night but its so much fun!!! I'll be at my church from 7:50am to probably somewhere around 11:00pm-possibly 12am. Its a huge deal to clean everything up afterwards, so that takes the longest. But this week is the absolute greatest because this camp is all about sharing the gospel and possibly bringing some kids to a lifetime relationship with Jesus that would've never had if they didn't come to Arts Camp 2012!! I am so humbled and blessed to be working with such amazing staff and crew!!! Lets keep the energy going for one more day people! As my camp co-producer always says every year "Its one week people, one week!!!!" :)

Well, thats it for now!! I'll try and blog tomorrow to tell you all how the performance night went and also how the last day of camp goes! Have a great night everyone! :D

Arts Camp day 3...

Hey everyone! Well, I just got home from another AMAZING day at Arts Camp! (if you're just reading my blog posts Arts Camp is a VBS camp that the staff of my church puts on every year) Anyways, today was awesome!! This camp is the most amazing week of my life!! I am so amazed at all the kids today, when my camp producer prayed with them today to ask them if they would.  like to accept Jesus into their lives every child's head was bowed. It was just a really humbling moment because some of these kids don't come from great families or backgrounds and this camp is like the highlight of their day. They love it, so I am just so proud to be working and teaching this year!!! Day 3 of Arts Camp is complete!! Trying to get rested up to do the last 2 days and then do a quick turn around this weekend, and finally I have to jump right back into my normal routine of starting school because I took this week off. I am finishing up my high school classes, I have 20 days left!! So its been a long week of getting up at 5:30am and not going to bed until around 9:00pm, but its all good!!! Hopefully this quick 2 day weekend turn around will let me get sleep to be able to jump back into life full force :)

On another note, starting in September I am returning to my former voice coach!!! I had her as my coach when I was 11 and I had her all the way up until I was 14 then I had to unfortunately quit. But 7 years later, I am returning to her!!! She is the most amazing teacher and more importantly a very dear friend of mine. She will be teaching me piano and voice again :) So I am very excited for that!!!

Well, thats it for now! I'll be posting again tomorrow!! Have a great day everyone!!! :)

Arts Camp day 2 and Puppy update!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are doing well on this awesome Tuesday afternoon! I have returned home from my church after teaching at Arts Camp! Day 2 is officially done and I am just hanging out trying to catch some rest since I've been up since 5am (which is my puppy's fault, but whose blaming anyone :)) But anyways, day 2 went really awesome! I love watching all the kids when we have worship at the opening and closing session, its so awesome to see all of them praising God along with us!

My students did really well today, I was so impressed!! A young guy whose one of our teachers in the class and a super good friend of mine who I've known for 2 years did a demo of the Harmonica. He is amazing, I had never heard him play it until today and oh my goodness he just rocked it! :) He can play harmonica, electric and acoustic guitar, drums and ukulele! He plays in our regular adult church worship band on a regular basis and he volunteers to play for the youth group band on Sunday nights sometimes. He's just completely awesome! :D Anyways, the day went very well! I feel so blessed to be working with such amazing people and seeing these kids have fun is my greatest joy! :) We are all getting rested up to finish out the last 3 days with a bang! :P

Now onto a puppy update! He is doing extremely well! He is 5 months old and finally wearing his collar without screaming!! I am so excited, after a week of having it on he finally got used to it! Our first training session went very well, so all in all he is just fabulous! Except for the fact that he woke me up at 5am this morning, even though I would've woken up at 5:30am anyways because my alarm went off, but still! A half and hour I could've used to sleep, but oh well! Life is good so far!

Well, thats it for todays post! I'll be posting tomorrow with a fun outfit of the day and some other fun stuff, so keep your eyes out for that! Have a great night everyone! :)

Arts Camp day 1...

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a fantastic Monday evening! I just wanted to share with you the details from Arts Camp Day 1!!! Arts Camp day 1: Complete! It was a great first day, my kids were really good and the teaching went very well. I am teaching the craft portion of our class so thats really fun and I am playing music for the week in our class as well, which I am SO excited about!!!

As I said in yesterday's post, there's about 350+ kids at the camp total, and so as you can imagine there ALOT of chaos going on. So first thing in the morning (around 7:50am) the volunteers circle up for prayer and last minute instructions for the day, then by around 8am the kids start pouring into the lobby area of the church to sign in to their designated classes. After the kids are all signed in they come sit under these huge balloons that are all different colors to distinguish each track. My track's color is red this year, which is awesome! :) Anyways, after the kids are all inside the main auditorium the worship band starts playing around 8:45am which is called opening session. Then around 9:15am-9:30am, our camp producer teaches the lesson for that day. Then we are dismissed to our classrooms for our lesson that we're teaching. I guess I should tell you guys that our theme this year is called THE TRANSFORMATION GAMES because its one week before the Olympics, we thought it was an appropriate name. Anyways, then after we do our lesson for the day, the kids are dismissed to go home which is around 12:30pm.

Then the volunteers have to go to what is called "debrief" which is basically just going over the day and working out any kinks or problems. Finally, around 1:30pm all of us volunteers are dismissed to go home and rest up for the next day's work.

So that is a little inside scoop of what everyday entails for me and all the rest of the 200+ volunteers. But today went very smoothly for the first day, which I am impressed! So basically my day starts at 5:30am and doesn't stop until roughly 9pm.

Well, thats it for this post! I'll be posting more throughout the week on both blogs, so keep your eye for those! Have a great night everyone! :)

Arts camp set-up day and the week's details...

Hey everyone! I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday afternoon! I just got back from my church thats doing set-up for our VBS camp that is all week that my church members created 11 years ago. I am teaching Music 1st grade-4th grade. I am very excited because this is my first year teaching, I have been a shepard for the past 7 years so it will be a nice change. There's about 350+ kids and about 200+ volunteers, my class has 10 kids and so my part of the class that I'm teaching is the craft section. And I'm also doing a music instrument demo on Thursday for when the kids learn about the String instruments that day. Each day the kids learn about different instruments and do different crafts. Then on Friday, we have a showcase or a performance night of all the tracks to present when they learned for that week. Each of the tracks learn something to present on Friday for the showcase, so its a really fun night to see what all the other tracks are doing.

The tracks that are offered are: Music, Drama, Culinary, Dance, Creative craftsmanship, and Visual Arts. So it will be a very busy week, after I teach and the day is over I have to come home, take care of my 5 month old puppy and do school. I have to be up by 6am and I am there at church until 2pm. Some days I'll be there until 4pm to help clean the campus up for the next day at camp.

Its a long week, but I love it because we are sharing about Jesus to kids who either don't go to church or don't know who Jesus is at all. So throughout the week, I'll be trying to blog about each day and show you guys some fun pictures! Well, thats it for now! I'll be blogging again tomorrow and I hope y'all have a great night! :)

Job News!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Monday morning! I just wanted to share with you the news I just recieved about the receptionist job, I unfortunately didn't get it :( But I know that this job wasn't the one that God wanted me to have, I know there's another job out there that is the perfect fit for me. I am just grateful for the opportunity to have been able to apply for the position.

On a more positive note, the trainer that is training my puppy is coming out today for our first lesson! We put his collar on Friday night and he still is yelping and rolling around on the floor trying to get it off. But he has to wear it for training, so he's got to get used to it. Anyways, thats pretty much what is going on today.

On my other blog Beauty Beat, I'll be posting a tutorial and my June beauty favorites later today, so you can head over to www.mariah-cantstopthebeauty.blogspot.com to check that out today. I hope y'all are having a great day and I'll be blgging again soon! :)

I officially will start  junior college classes online at Thomas Edison state college on September 17th 2012!!! I am very excited about this, it will probably take me 3 years to get my Bachelor's degree in Music with them. Then I will transfer out to University of the Pacific to get my Master's degree in Music Therapy. So I'll be in school for a total of 6 years, but its worth it! Anyways, just thought I'd share that I'm officially registered for college!!! :D Have a fabulous day everyone and I'll be blogging again soon! :)

What goes on at my house....

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Wednesday afternoon! I thought I would show you what myself and my 2 dogs do for the afternoon: I call it Lazy Wednesdays! Lol

I've been doing my homework in my room today and my dogs decided to join me :) My 13 year old German Shepard Ginger is sleeping on the floor and my little 15 week old puppy Jay-Z gets some special treatment by being able to be up on my bed.

Here's a closer look at him :)

He loves what we call his "bobo" and he likes to sleep with it next to him. There are nights when I put him to bed and he drags his bobo into his crate and snuggles with it :) So adorable!

Here's another cute picture of him I just took a few seconds ago:

Anyways, I thought I'd share with y'all what we do on Wednesdays! Or rather what my dogs do while I do homework :) Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this and I'll be blogging again soon! Have a great day everyone! :)

Job Interview: How it went!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Tuesday afternoon! Most of you know from my recent blog updates that I had a job interview today at a fitness center for the position of desk receptionist. I had the interview at 8am and I have to say it wasn't that bad! I mean, it was my first interview EVER in my life but I wasn't nervous, I just remembered to be myself and smile :) The manager said that she had a couple more people to interview for the job and that she would be letting me know about the position by next week sometime. So that was my interview! I think it went really well. I'm happy with the answers I gave to the questions she had asked. So I know this was short, but I really don't have much to say about it :) But I will let you guys know when she lets me know the details good or bad next week :) Have a great day everyone and I'll be blogging again soon! :)

Job News!!!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend! I spent most of my Sunday at church for a meeting for my VBS camp that starts July 16 and goes until July 20th. I am teaching 1st-4th graders in Music!! Super excited about this, it will be my first time teaching a class of 20+ kids! The track leader asked me to do a guitar demo on one of the days, so I'm very excited about that also!

Anyways, onto what this post is about! I got an email from the manager at the fitness center that I applied for the recpetionist job last week and she said I have an interview tomorrow at 8am!! So please pray for me because I haven't actually done an interview before :) But please pray that everything goes well and that they will strongly consider me for the position. I'm hopeful that something good will come out of the interview, but I'm not holding my breath about it. If this is the right job for me right now, God will provide it! Anyways, thats all I know right now. I'll let you know if I get the job as soon as I know more! I hope you have a great day everyone! :)

New Adventures Arising!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Thursday morning! I just wanted to share with you some new and exciting adventures that have recently made an appearance in my life.

First of all, I applied for a job at fitness center as a front desk receptionist on Tuesday. I'm very excited about this job! I should know by next week sometime if I got the position. The shift right now would be the opening shift which is 5am-9am. The manager said that there will be a few dates in July where she will need a fill-in for the morning hours and then a permanent replacement when she goes back to teaching at a school starting August 9th. Its every Thursday starting in August and then here and there possibly in July on Thursdays and also working weekends in August if they need it. Starting in September, she said there would be additional afternoon hours to take if I wanted them, but I wouldn't work both shifts in one day. I would work the morning shift one day, and the closing shift 3pm-8pm another day. Its a pretty easy job, some of the responsibilities are light cleaning and working the cash register. But mainly your there to greet people that come in and answer phones. I hope I am accepted for the job because it would work out perfectly for college classes because I could work around school. She also said I could bring my laptop and do homework, which works out great. The job pays minimum wage, so if I worked every Thursday on the morning shift I'd be making probably around $100 a month. Which works out great for paying for gas for my car and other things. So I'm really hoping I get it! :)

The next thing is a couple months ago I auditioned to be apart of my church's adult worship team. I did my audition back in April and my worship pastor said I needed a little more work on my voice and I needed to come back and re-audition in a couple months. So I've been singing with my church choir and working with a good friend of mine who said she would be my coach. My worship pastor said that I'm more of an Alto range than what I have been singing which is between 1st and 2nd Soprano. So he said to rehearse and sing in the alto section of our church choir and work with my coach, then come back and audition again. What he is trying to do is train me so I can lead a worship service in my alto range, which is great! I've just not sang alot in my alto range, I've been singing 1st and 2nd soprano since I was 11 years old. So I'm supposed to have my re-audition sometime in July I think. So I'm very excited about that! :)

Finally, another brand new thing that has come into my life is my 14 week old puppy! He is such a ball of energy, and so cute! Although, he wakes up incredibly early. This morning he woke me up at 5am! I told my mom he's just testing me for being able to get up for work in the morning! Although, I would have to be up at 4am to get to work by 5am. But nonetheless, its still early when I don't have to get up for work at this time. He keeps me very busy, when he goes in to sleep around 8am-10am I do my school stuff and try to fit in some blogging time before he wakes up. He's still so much fun and if you want to see pictures, I have some in my earlier posts.

Alright, well I think thats it for new adventures in my life at the moment. I'll update y'all on my job situation as soon as I know more and also about my audition. I hope you enjoyed this and I'll be blogging again soon! Have a great day everyone!

Puppy Update and much more!

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are having a great Thursday morning! Well, my puppy Jay-Z is 13 weeks old and he doing very well. The only thing is he has to wear a collar for training and he hates it! As soon as we put it on him, he runs all over the house whining and yelping. He rolls around on the floor trying to get it off, I called my trainer to see what I should do and she said just put it on him and don't take it off. Its been 2 days and he still isn't used to it! My trainer said that he will eventually realize that it has to be on him and that he'll eventually forget its even on him. She said when she got her dog, she put the collar on him and he did the same thing but now he doesn't even realize he has it on.

So I guess things will get better....EVENTUALLY! The hard thing is, when he has his collar on he won't go to the bathroom. I guess he thinks that if he moves the collar will bite him :) So it has been a very long 2 days here at my house. I'm very tired because he's been waking up between 5:45am and 6:00am. This morning becasue he wouldn't go to the bathroom last night, my dad woke him up at 4:00am to take him outside, which he FINALLY went to the bathroom after about 10 and a half hours of not going. So I've been up since 4:00am, I went back to sleep for a little while but woke up at 6:45am. So I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night. But anyways, thats what has been going on in my house the past couple of days.

Well, thats about it for now! Go check out my other blog www.mariah-cantstopthebeauty.blogspot.com because I might be posting an Ulta haul if I go over there today!!! :D Anyways, Have a great day everyone! :)

My puppy!!!

Hey everyone! I finally got a good picture of my 12 week old puppy, Jay-Z! Here he is:

I went to Petco today and I bought him a new toy. And OMG! He LOVES it!

Its one of those stuffed toys that look like a wiener dog, this one has a lion head on it and he was running back and forth from my hallway into my bedroom for about 20 minutes straight playing with it! :D

Anyways, thats the fun for today! I'll be blogging again soon! :)

New Addition to the family!!

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to announce that my family has a new addition to my furry clan of animals! I got a puppy on Monday, he is 11 weeks old and he is so cute! He is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix and he keeps me very busy. He is like a little human baby, I only have a certain amount of time to do things I need to do before he gets fussy and he always wants to cuddle and sleep on my lap. I'm training him to be a therapy dog so I can take him into hospitals and see the kids smile. The greatest thing though is he sleeps through the night without a peep out of him the whole night! I put him to bed at 9pm and he sleeps until 6am, so he's doing really well! He hasn't pottied in the house at all since I've had him! :D My other dog likes him and he loves her! He'll follow her around when he's out with her and she is warming up to him. My cat still doesn't like him, but she's getting there. So my furry family grew from having 2 animals to having 3! He's so much fun and running around after him keeps my mind off my medical problems I'm having at the moment. Anyways, thats what has been going on in my life right now. My schooling is winding down for the summer and my last day of high school is August 17th, my 18th birthday is the 22nd and my high school graduation is the 25th! So there's alot of things happening all at once. And this June I'm busy every Saturday except for the 30th, so that should be fun. There's a couple saturdays that I have double events going on, so I'll be extremely busy next month!

So thats what has been happening in my life lately! Have a great night everyone and I'll be blogging again soon! :)

What's been going on in my life...

Hey everyone! Sorry its been so long since I've posted something new on this blog. I've been really busy with my other blog BEAUTY BEAT, which has done EXTREMELY well since I created it a couple months ago.

Ok, onto what has been going on in my life. Well for starters, school has been kicking my butt and since I'm graduating in August this year I need to buckle down and get things done. Things are going well though, pretty easy past couple days just trying to finish up stuff from last week. And I think I finally got it all done! I still have to write a 5-minute speech for my government class and I have to read 2-3 non juvenile books on avian creatures for Biology today. But I think its pretty doable. My grandma is coming in from Yuba City today to say a quick "hi" before she goes back to Oregon. So that will be fun getting to see her. And I'm tired today because right about 9:30pm lasr night,  a good guy friend of mine texted me and so we ended up texting until about 10pm. And then I of course had trouble getting to sleep. Oh, and to top it all off I woke up at 6:15AM this morning! So I've been up since then doing school work and I just finished, so I thought I'd do some blogging!

Well, I hope y'all have a great day and I'll try and post more on here, but I just am keeping busy with my beauty blog. So I don't know how much posting I'll be doing on this blog, but in the meantime can you guys please go check out BEAUTY BEAT if you haven't done so already? It would mean so much to me! Thanks and have a wonderful day! :)

Life is getting back to normal...

So....life is getting back to normal slowly but surely! School is going well, not too stressful I should be able to graudate in August so thats exciting! I went back to work 2 weeks ago and I can't to work again this Sunday in nursery again! Hopefully, we'll have more babies than just 1 that we had 2 weeks ago :) I'm back to both choirs as well and I'm enjoying that! And something excitng is that my second blog I created on here (Beauty Beat) has hit it off hugely! I have 3 subscribers or "followers" now and that might not be much to some people, but its a HUGE deal for me! I'm in contact with  my favorite youtube beauty guru (emilynoel83) and she has helped me immensely with my blog posts and she has given me great feedback and tips! So Emily, if you're reading this THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for helping me!! So I'm excited about where that blog is going, but I'm still keeping up with this blog :)
Well, thats it! I hope y'all have a great night!! :)

Started school yet again...

So I have started school again. Trying to finish up Senior year since I had a little bit of a break for my 8 weeks of being in the hospital for surgery at the beginning of this year. And I have to say, that the first day back was not that bad. I started my work at 10am, took a break for lunch at 12pm and finished my work for the day at 3:30pm. So all in all, a six and a half hour school day is not that bad. My weekend was great! Got to see a couple of my friends at church yesterday. Hung out with my good friend Danny all morning before and after church. So that was good to see him since I hadn't seen him since December :) And Saturday, I didn't do much just went shopping with my parents for the afternoon and then went to the Elephant Bar for dinner with them. So that was really fun! And that was my weekend. I'm recovering from surgery well, going back to work this weekend and I'll also be returning to my church choir this weekend to sing with them on Sunday. I returned to my teen choir last Thursday, so I enjoyed that very much. Can't wait to go back this week, because I get to see one of my best friends!! So excited!! I have seen her since December either :) Anyways, so thats pretty much my week ahead. Have a great night everyone! :)

Dog Shaped Flower Arrangement??

Hey everyone! So I was in the hospital for about 8 weeks, and I finally was able to come home last Thursday. A friend of mine came over on Saturday to visit and she brought me the cutest flowers!

Are these not the cutest?! I thought it was such a cute idea that the flowers were made into the shape of a dog :) Anyways, I just thought I'd share this with ya'll. I felt that it was too cute not to share! So enjoy! Have a great night everyone!
